Usability Matters

This website's design matches Scripps Gerontology Center's commitment to accessibility.
At Scripps Gerontology Center, we prioritize accessibility, usability, and quality experiences. Whether older adults’ preferences at long-term care facilities or people living with dementia making art, how well these services are designed can lead to frustration or delight—design matters. That’s why we’ve gone to great lengths to design Scripps Aging Hub to conform with the most stringent accessibility standards.
We’ve gone to great lengths to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AAA standards—the highest level of conformance and continue to update this website network to make it the most accessible tool possible for all users. As the site evolves, we’ll improve A and AA-level compliant components to improve access for folks using keyboards, mobile devices, and screen readers to use this site. Usability is a constant pursuit, and we’re committed to producing the most accessible content possible as these standards evolve. Learn more about Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
